I been thinking…Am I a person that runs and gives up or a person that knows when to walk away? How does one know this? There is a great difference, although they have some sort of parallel. Here’s the twist. The runner doesn’t see things through. Doesn’t really try to endure the marathon. It’s instant gratification or bust for the runner.
The person that knows when to walk away may find out too late. They may be exhausted and feel there is nothing left to give. They gave more than adequate effort, but it’s possible it’s just not meant to be. When they feel that they move on.
The problem with both scenarios is that many of us are taught to never give up. Keep fighting till the end. Which makes sense. However, in that regard neither option is worth entertaining. Maybe lessons on how to keep fighting and endure is what I truly need.
