Recognizing My Purpose: Day 1

Today is day 1 of recognizing my purpose as a Resource that operates with Gratitude.

This morning was different. My visualization was not about accumulating wealth. It was about me operating in my purpose and how it will make me feel. It was about me drawing the energy from others that I have contributed to positively. The thought of that feeling was great. Like it was actually happening in that moment. That feeling was different than the anxiety and impatient feelings I get when thinking about acquiring money. When I visualized operating as a resource, I felt like there was more than enough time. I felt like it would be accomplished daily even hourly. There was no pressure or suspense because I know I can get this done no matter what the circumstance.

I’ve help people when I’ve had something, next to nothing and when I felt I had everything. It never changed. I am hoping that recognizing that and moving with it in mind as an everyday contribution will give my mind some freedom from my focus on wants, needs and temporary have-not’s. I look forward to sharing new experiences and revelations.

A Gratitude Call

I just got a call today from one of my good friends from the broadcasting industry.

A few weeks back he reached out wanting assistance with his resume. Although I was a little apprehensive about how much I could help, I agreed to help and did all I could to make sure I didn’t waste his time or make him feel like he wasted the wage given to me to perform the writing task.

Today, that friend called to say, Thank you. He says the resume I edited, he posted and it got him offers. The offer he took is officially putting him on a new career path and he and his Fiance are relocating! He said it all started with the resume and he wanted to sincerely thank me. He told me, “You could have said, No and not help me, but you didn’t. It may seem small to you, but it’s huge for me.”

WOW! Talk about a gracious humbling moment. That was so cool and great for my soul to receive that I am just in awe. I’m basking in the moment and the positive words shared. I’m beaming! That was really cool to receive from a friend that became a customer. To deliver in that manner for a person is unreal! I’ve always wanted my writing to help, assist, identify and connect. The official word is this definitely has done some if not all of that! That’s amazing!

WOW! Extreme gratitude! Congrats, My G! Do what you always do! KILL IT!

My Writer’s Affirmation

This writer’s affirmation manifested itself in many ways. I created an erotica series, and got paid to write cover letters, bio’s and touch up resumes. I also got to speak my “written piece” on music and how it effects us for 2 different media outlets. I put out my first book and ended the year with music reviews.

This blog site became a safe haven for my thoughts feelings and emotions. I shared my art and my life with you. You were receptive, felt me and communicated and for that I thank you.

Gratitude for My Level of Wealth

Randomly this week, I’ve had this thought on my mind…

I’ve been broke for a long time. I’ve changed jobs, career paths, schools. Then I started changing my attitude, mindset and focus.

I won’t act like much has changed, but it has definitely made me realize that I need to have gratitude for all the things that I do have. I can only acquire more if I truly appreciate everything that is in my current reality. Recognizing the wealth of having a family, a well functioning mind, and an able body that can take me anywhere I want to go. Those are major blessings that I take for granted. I am wealthy beyond many peoples wildest dreams just for those things alone.

Yes, monetary wealth would be great, but I really need to appreciate the wealth that I already posses while living my one life.

Solving Rich People Problems

I never see all the rich and depressed people I hear about. The ones that have so much money, but are super unhappy. I hear they are lonely depressed and are not sure what to do with their life and time.

I would gladly put in work to clear my debt or trade places for a week.

They wouldn’t even have to give me all their money. Just hit me with enough to clear all my debt so my check can go to my account and stay there. Well, maybe hit me with enough to pay my rent for 12 months in advance too.

If the money isn’t bringing you happiness, be a blessing to someone in need. It would be great for your spirit to know that you have helped someone who was unable to help themselves.

Maybe you would feel better to hire someone and pay them well to do things you don’t want to do. Bottom line use that money as a tool and help get one more family out of poverty. I think that would be a noble thing. Just a thought in case anyone was trying to figure out how to solve a rich person problem today.

Enjoy the rest of your Saturday.
